Some N-isonicotinoyl flavanone hydrazones (IIIa-f) have been synthesized by condensing isonicotinic acid hydrazide (INH,II) with suitably substituted chalcones (Ia-f) at pH 4.2 (approx). The compounds when screened in-vitro, exhibited recordable antitubercular activity.
