A series of N-(2-mercapto-4,5-disubstituted-phenyl)-N'-substituted phenyl thioureas have been synthesized and screened in vitro against H37 Rv strain of Mycobacteriumtuberculosis. The antitubercular activity of these compounds vary from 50 mug/ml to 0.6 mug/ml.
