A simple and rapid spectrofluorimetric method for the determination of trimeprazine tartrate (TMT) and methdilazine hydrochloride (MDH) were developed based on the formation of base catalysed condensation of mixed anhydride with malonic acid/acetic anhydride and tertiary amine groups of the above mentioned drugs in bulk and pharmaceutical preparations.
