A novel, precise and accurate, direct,current,polarographic method is described for the determination of dexamethasone in pharmaceutical preparations is described, in which the drug was reduced in a phthalate buffer solution pH 4.2 The polarograms were recorded from -0.6 V to 1.47 V vs Ag-AgCl reference electrode. The percentage recovery is 99.49 +- 0.58.
