The lipid fraction from Vicoa indica DC. (Cokpositae) was subjected to urea adduct formation method. The adduct was desintegrated and the residue chromatographed. GC-MS examination of the mixture obtained led to the identification of 16 n-alkanes and 9 n-alkanoic acid esters.
