The protien binding bheviour of 4-amino, 4'-substituted diarylsulfones (dapsone analogues) is reported using the dynamic dialysis method. To explain the influence of replacement of an NH2 group in dapsone by other groups on the protien binding of the analogues, the lipophilicity constant RM was correlated with association constants. Replacement of an NH2 group in dapsone by other groups significantly altered the binding characteristics, and the binding increased linearly with increase in lipophilicity of the analogues
