Dispersible tablets of three poorly soluble drugs namely sulphamethoxazole, piroxicam and oxyphenbutazone formulated with potato starch and MCC fulfilled all official (B.P.) requirements and gave fast and rapid dissolution of the medicament. Dissolution followed first-order kinetics.
