Fatty acid compositions of Gymnoporia montana and Paederia foetida leaves have been reported. G.montana showed the presence of palmitic acid while in P.foetida nonanoic acid,capric acid,lauric acid,myristic acid,arachidic acid and palmitic acid have been detected. Both the samples revealed the presence of higher concentration of conjugated dienoic acid and comparatively lower concentration of trieonic acid.
