A study was conducted to determine the effect of pH on antimalarial compound N' -3' -Acetyl-4-5'-dihydro-2' -furanyl-N' -(6-methoxy, 8-quinolinyl)-1, 4-pentane diamine (80/53) [l]. Aqueous solutions of [l] were prepared in buffers of different pH values (2.2 to 8.6) at 25 +/- 2 degree. The order of reaction and degradation rate constant were computed by least square linear regression.
