Besides the known compounds, hexacosanol, B-sitosterol, tetracosanoic acid and B-sitosterol-B-D-glucoside, a new compound was isolated from the aerial parts of Ajuga bracteosa and characterized as triacontanyl docosanoate by physico-chemical methods.
