Melia azedarach stems have been shown to contain melianin B, sendanolactone, ohchinin acetate, surianol and 3α-hydroxy-4,4,14 α -trimethyl-5α -pregn-8-en-20-one. The first three have already been reported from this plant. The last two compounds have already been reported from Suriana maritama and Fomes officinalis respectively.
